Ever tried a recipe you found on the internet and it just hasn't quite worked? I certainly have! Have you ever amended the recipe and made it better??? I bet some of you clever clogs have!
Well, imagine if you could change the recipe online so that all those that try the recipe in the future benefit from your cookery wisdom. A cooking wiki is just the thing! It's like getting your grandmas old cookbook with all her little notations in the margin. Plus you can add your favourite recipe for others to try.
Here are two I came across:
http://www.foodista.com/
http://recipes.wikia.com/wiki/Recipes_Wiki
Mmm, cooking...
Awesome. I usually only make recipes which have positive comments, but the wiki idea is fantastic! I'm definately going to bookmark those!
ReplyDeleteYum. Miss K is a real innovator isn't she? Great idea for a wiki.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea
ReplyDeleteOoooh ... I'm always adjusting this and tweeking that in recipes ... then I hand write them in an old fashioned Recipe Journal. How wonderful to be able to share them in a wiki!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your blog, by the way!
Such a practical use of wiki. I still enjoy reading my Gran's notes in the margins next to recipes.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great a idea. I quite often use the internet for recipes as it is so much quicker than trolling through all my cooking books.
